Now
What I’m focused on right now — updated .
Most of the job is people; these are the places I keep my hands in the work.
Work
CTO and board member at Scopevisio. Currently building out a second leadership tier so the engineering organisation can scale without bottlenecking on individuals.
Side projects
Most non-work hacking goes into netray.info — a small suite of network-intelligence tools. mhost, Prism, and ifconfig-rs are public; a handful of further tools (HTTP header scanning, mail probing, SSH inspection) are in design or early implementation.
Research and tinkering
Sandboxing AI coding agents on macOS so they can be trusted with larger blast radii. Running a local LLM stack on Apple Silicon and comparing it to remote model APIs for everyday work. Wiring Obsidian into the toolchain via MCP so notes, todos, and code share the same context.
Homelab
Self-hosted Gitea Actions runners with a working CA-trust story across the pipeline, and orchestrated mail infrastructure on Oracle Cloud. A real working environment for the kind of problems I’d otherwise only meet in slide decks.
About this page
Inspired by Derek Sivers’ /now: a single page that says what I’m doing this season, without the ceremony of a blog post.
